#1 Features

One application for the whole inspection

EddyCross covers the working day of an eddy current inspector — from the first sweep of a tube to the finished report.

Acquisition

Real-time acquisition from your tester, with automatic device discovery on the network and live strip and Lissajous displays while the probe is moving.

Probes

Bobbin, rotating, array, RFT, NFT and others — each with the displays it needs, including 3D and waterfall views.

Analysis & charts

Strip charts and Lissajous views with channel mixes, measurements and landmarks — multiple charts on a page, arranged to suit the job.

Auto analysis

Work through the tube list on its own, pausing only where you tell it to — on data, a message, a summary, a report or calibration entry, or a landmark error — or let it run until you stop it.

Auto coloring

Coloring rules per calibration group: define areas by landmark range or by distance, in the free span or around landmarks, and whatever falls inside one takes that area's color as the analysis runs.

Signal injection

Capture a stretch of signal and re-inject it elsewhere, so a known response can be placed into a data set for training, comparison or checking an analysis.

Data quality monitoring

Data quality is monitored live while you acquire — noise, drift, saturation and dropped samples are flagged as they happen, so a bad run is caught while the probe is still in the tube rather than back at the desk.

Calibration

Calibration groups with linear, rational and line curves, automated calibration workflows and per-channel frequency setup you can reuse across projects.

Tubesheet maps

Your heat exchanger drawn tube by tube, with inspection status per tube, landmarks and section import — including reading a tubesheet straight from a picture.

Reports & database

Indications collected into an inspection report with configurable columns, a report database and a history you can browse and export.

Projects & sharing

Projects sync to the server and are shared per person as write, read or streaming access. Streaming lets an outside reviewer open and check the data while the files stay on the server.

Opens other vendors' data

Alongside its own project files, EddyCross reads data sets written by other vendors' instruments, so archived inspections stay readable.

Desktop, mobile and web

One codebase for Windows, macOS and Linux desktops, Android and iOS devices in the field and a browser session — the same screens and the same files.

Multilingual

The whole application in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Polish, Czech, Croatian, Slovenian, Russian and Simplified Chinese — switched at any time, on every platform.

Acquisition from tester hardware works on every platform except the web, where the browser sandbox cannot reach the instrument; everything else works everywhere.
